On June 3, 2019, CybageKhushboo flagged off yet another initiative to provide employment to the unskilled and unemployed youths from the drought prone Marathwada region.
The trust signed a six-month MoU with Talensetu, a skill training foundation. Through its skill development program, Talensetu will train 100 youngsters in the age group of 18–30 as ‘Assistant Operators’. This course is a combination of fixing and welding.
The course has commenced, and the first batch of 50 students will be undergoing a month-long program that will combine theory as well as on-job training. After the successful completion of the course, candidates will get placed in manufacturing companies with salaries ranging from Rs. 10k–14k per month.
The MoU signing, and the inauguration ceremony was presided over by Ritu Nathani, Director, Cybage and Head, Cybage CSR along with Prasad Karhadkar, Director Talensetu.
Expressing her thoughts on the occasion, she said that CybageKhushboo is trying to bridge the gap between unemployed youngsters and industry which needs skilled manpower. This initiative will ensure economic empowerment to the youth who lack such opportunities.
