Khushboo lends 60 students a helping hand
30/08/2015:

The Sunday of August 30, 2015, brought together 60 beneficiaries, volunteers of CybageKhushboo, several happy parents, and supportive Cybagians at the Cybage headquarters in Pune. The occasion was the handing over of scholarships to these beneficiaries, who were carefully selected from 250 applications for the CybageKhushboo Annual Scholarship Program 2015.

This time around, the scholarship cheques were handed out by the volunteers, who will eventually mentor the beneficiaries.

Mrs. Ritu Nathani, Managing Trustee, CybageKhushboo, wove her message in a story to make the students understand the importance of their education and the need to put in their efforts to realize their dreams. She explained to them how a sound education helped Arun and her to set up a new world of their own.

One of the overwhelmed beneficiaries, Ashu Dighe, promised that he will try his best to fulfill the expectations of CybageKhushboo by doing well in his studies and once he has attained stability, sponsor more needy students like himself.

A parent from Karnawdi, one of the villages adopted by CybageAsha, proudly mentioned that his daughter is the first girl from his village to pursue Engineering. He thanked Cybage for helping his daughter reach this educational milestone. He also said that it’s a pleasant surprise to see a “company” taking such initiatives for the greater good.

Beneficiaries from the previous batch, who were present to boost the morale of the new students, exhorted them to attend the sessions that CybageKhushboo organizes for their overall educational and professional development.
