For the year 2014-15, the CybageKhushboo Holistic Development Program was kick-started with a motivational session by renowned RTI activist and career counsellor, Mr. Vivek Velankar, at PVG’s College of Engineering and Technology, on December 27, 2014.

Mr. Velankar talked about various avenues that open up after completing engineering diploma; opportunities beyond private companies (public sector); importance of certification, technical knowledge, career planning, English-speaking skills; and preparation for aptitude tests.

Question-answer round:

More than 90 engineering students attended the session. After this power-packed session, they were encouraged to ask questions. Some of them had queries about time management and reference books, among others.

Student Speak:

Some of the Khushboo beneficiaries, who were placed at prominent MNCs such as TCS, Accenture, HSBC, and Crompton Greaves, were also invited to share their experiences. This exercise helped the new students as they could relate to the experiences of their seniors.

Nikita Daware: Nikita shared her experience of campus interviews and questions asked regarding her projects. Nikita’s experiences motivated the new batch to introspect.

Aniket Adake: Aniket provided the new students a list of websites that would help extra studies.

Snehalata Pandit: Snehalata explained the importance of using referral books for studies.

CybageKhushboo is committed to train sponsored students to make them employment ready. Hence, several workshops and training sessions are planned as an ongoing activity.
